[Bug 62819] make-kpkg package changes SATA partitions in menu.lst

Public bug reported:

After builidng a custom kernel from source using make-kpkg, my menu.lst
entries were all changed to point to a non-existing partition.

I corrected them and booted, but none of the SATA drives are recognized.
