[Bug 102680] appletouch does not function properly on 2nd gen macbook

Appletouch does not function properly on 7.04 beta on 2nd gen macbook
(core 2 duo).

Trackpad is extremely slow.  removing and reinserting appletouch
improves sensitivity, but the trackpad is flaky, sometimes registering
movement, sometimes not.

In addition advanced features such as scrolling, tap-and-hold to drag,
two-finger tap to right click, etc do not work.  I can't recall about
tap-to-click.
