As a rule, SRUs are reserved for critical, high-impact bugs; for this
reason, I believe it is very unlikely to be accepted for SRU.
However, the version that has been released for edgy work as-is on
Dapper; simply downloading that package and installing it via "dpkg -i
<package.deb>" should work fine. I'd recommend suggesting that to any
who would like the fix on their Dapper systems.

If you decide that you agree with me wrt suitability as an SRU, please
change the status back to "Fix Released". In the future, I think it'd be
preferable to submit a separate bug for SRU requests, so that it can be
tracked separately/have a separate status.
