Setting to 2.6.15,
Can you confirm you still have this bug in Dapper?
Also, can you look at bug #45851 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.15/+bug/45851)  and tell me if you experience similar behaviours
