I own an Acer Aspire 162LM Laptop that suffer of this same bug.
Frequently, when I make a high I/O use of the disk I see that the system
Freeze fore some seconds and in the dmesg I see:

[59519.084000] hda: dma timeout error: status=0xd0 { Busy }
[59519.084000] ide: failed opcode was: unknown
[59519.084000] hda: DMA disabled

and the system return to works ok.
