Well I try to resume the posible solutions fot rt61 cards (for Feisty)

Problem: (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/34902/comments/17)
From a ralink driver developer : "Since rt2400, rt2570 don't have SMP support, and rt2500 only has it in the latest CVS >code I would recommend to them they drop the Ralink drivers altogether untill rt2x00 is >released. The SMP issue will _not_ be solved in the legacy drivers (rt2400, rt2500, rt61, rt2570, rt73) which means that it >will _never_ work with the default Ubuntu kernel if they have SMP enabled by default."

Solutions:
1. Disable rt61 driver -> not solution for me, I need the wifi connection
1. Blacklist rt61 driver and use the rt61pci driver (comes with Feisty kernel) -> not work for me (bug #58117)
2. Compile your own driver -> not work for me, see this bug :-/
3. Install linux-image-386 which install a kernel with SMP disabled -> works for me perfect for days!!

I hope this helps.
