Ditto...  I'm also getting intermittent panics complaining about "not
syncing: Aiee" every once in a while...  and I can't seem to find a
systemic cause for them (mainly because I have no idea what Aiee is or
does).  I'm interested if it is indeed caused by the ethernet card... I
haven't tested that one yet.  Mine is built into the MCP51 pci bus, not
sure what MB's setup was; though he/she too had a nVidia chipset.

Anyway, I think I'm going to try something like 2.6.22, and if that
doesn't prove useful, I'll go back to a stock ubuntu kernel and try a
different ethernet card or something.
