** Description changed:
- While transferring large amounts of files from an old fileserver to a new fileserver (running ubuntu 7.10 64bit server) on a 5 disk software raid 5 after a long time (approximately 100G of data at 30M/s) i got a kernel oops (happened already 2 times, updated kernel to the latest security version of today in between)
- Since i dont know how to make a text-dump of it I took pictures of the screen.
+ While transferring large amounts of files from an old fileserver (debian sid) to a new fileserver (running ubuntu 7.10 - 64bit server) i got a kernel oops (happened already 2 times, updated kernel to the latest security version of today in between)
+ The new server storage is a 5 disk software raid 5 with XFS as filesystem. The oops occurs after a long time (approximately 100G of data at 30M/s ~ couple of hours)
+ Since i dont know how to make a text-dump of it I took pictures of the screen (see oops-screen1 through 3)
All the extra information can be found in the log files that accompany it.
