Hi, I have exactly the same problem with my E520 and I’m running 6.10

According to Intel, the e1000 should be used for the 82562v, apparently
this isn’t working either, here’s a quote from the   E100 README file:

“NOTE: If you have the Intel® 82562v 10/100 Network Connection, you must 
install the e1000 driver.”
