I can confirm that on my Dell 2950 servers this bug is fixed with the
new 2.6.15-28 kernel release. An updated installer disc would be nice
though as at the moment you have do a work around
(http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=226114) to get ubuntu
installed.
