Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-source

OK so feisty shipped with ata_piix as the default module. That of course
led to the bug where the a cd had to be in the drive to avoid lock ups.
I ran the system76 driver which basically blacklisted ata_piix and
allows the old piix module to take over.

The new problem is that when a cd is placed in the drive, the computer will loock up after a little while.
the kernel.log reports :
hdb: status timeout : status=0xd0 {busy}
ide: failed opcode was: unknown
hdb: drive not ready for command

this is on a system 76 darter.

** Affects: linux-meta (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
