This bug is still present in Gutsy.

Since this happens only with Ubuntu and not with Zenwalk I somehow doubt it's ALSA who's at fault. I don't remember it happening with Xubuntu either, but I don't remember it not happening either.

If that is the case, why does this happen only with Ubuntu and not with Zenwalk?
