[Bug 193830] Re: Install image hangs for 5min during installation

Testing showed that this issue appears only in the UME kernel.  Please
see attachment for testing performed.

If you run the following command at the install prompt, the issue is no
longer seen.

          linux clocksource=hpet

Update provided to Canonical team to investigate further.
