Hello to all.
I a newbie in ubuntu. I got the same problem about my cd tray.

I also try to update the udev package. My cd tray still got the problem.
I had a SATA Samsung DVD RW Drive. I try the solutions given above but I
wonder where I got it wrong. I had an Ubuntu 8.10 OS
