Hello, I have exactly the same problem with exactly the same wireless
card. It seems to happen randomly, but is triggered much faster if I use
my connection heavily. For example, If I'm downloading a torrent it will
deadlock in a few hours, but if the only thing I do is browse the
internet it may take days before the deadlock happens.

I use Ubuntu Hardy AMD64 (with the proper 64 bit drivers for the
WG311v3).

I use only packages from the official Ubuntu repos (backports disabled)

I'll try to run the wireless troubleshooting stuff when it breaks again
