Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.15-52-server
Hi.
I got the enclosed Oops from a system running a fully updated Dapper
Server Edition. The machine has been running most, if not all, released
Server-flavored Dapper Kernels since Dapper was released, and it has
never had any Oopses before. The system has not been rebooted so far,
and everything appears to be normal, more than 18 hours after the
incident.
PostgreSQL, which provoked the Oops, logged the following at the time:
LOG: background writer process (PID 18882) was terminated by signal 11
I hope this can help track down a rare race condition or such, as I
assume there will be a long time until I hit this one again.
