[Bug 246009] [NEW] nvidia driver missing from Intrepid

Public bug reported:

There is no nvidia driver for Linux 2.6.26 on Intrepid.

I downloaded the installer script from NVidia's website for the latest
stable version 173.14, but the kernel module would not build.

The beta version 177.13, however, does build, and seems to run without
flaw. I would like to recommend we ship 177.13 with Intrepid, as it is
the only working driver as far as I can tell.
