Hey,

here the DSDT.aml from my laptop "HP Pavilion dv6500"
chipset claims to be MCP67

Kernel: 
* standard 2.6.24-19-386 => no problem
* self-compiled 2.6.25.6 (on 20080615) => no problem
BUT
* now kernel 2.6.26 (first release compiled on 20080716) . HANGs
(-rw-r--r--  1 root src   49441874 2008-07-14 00:43 linux-2.6.26.tar.bz2)
