Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.15

Sound card SB Live 5.1 never worked properly with any Linux distribution.
I've seen this problem reported in various ways but was never resolved.
To put it simply SB Live 5.1 doesn't work.
Applications that need capture will not work, e.g. Skype
Go to Sound Preferences
Device: SB Live 5.1 SB0220 Alsa mixer
Try: Sound Capture: Mic Capture Test
Error:
Failed to construct test pipeline for 'gconfaudiosrc ! audioconvert ! audioresample ! gconfaudiosink profile = chat'

Spin it anyway you like (yes I've seen various "solutions" but they
don't work) but the simple truth is until this type of basic things fail
and can't be fixed by an average Joe, Ubuntu will remain "nice try" and
not more than that.  Shame I really want to get rid of Windows and I
really like it, but I also really have life and no time for this.
