** Description changed:
I did an upgrade from Gutsy to Hardy Alpha 6 via "sudo update-manager
-d" which went smoothly and without any errors until reboot. After
reboot it got stuck on the ubuntu splashscreen for about 2-3 minutes.
Then the system fell back to BusyBox (see Attachment), where i could
enter some commands into the initramfs prompt. I Tried this on a
- Centrino-Duo-Laptop with Intel-Chipset (945 P/G). Harddisks are
+ Centrino-Duo-Laptop with Intel-Chipset (Intel 965PM). Harddisks are
connectet via SATA. Didn't find the exact same bug on launchpad and --
since this is my first report -- didn't know if this is related to
update-manager oder initramfs. So I hope this helps.
