I just installed Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 beta. To my surprise the HD does not
click anymore and the Load_Cycle_Count has not increased in hours. The
previous alpha I tried with the same hardware was clicking like crazy,
approximately once per 10 seconds. I have not made a single try to fix
the problem after Hardy beta installation. So something has apparently
changed for the better. It would be nice to know the details what has
changed.
