I have a D865PERL (Intel), and the message in the /var/log/dmesg is :

The SATA HD is frozen for 30 seconds and It freezes one more time
(another 30 seconds) after i write the userid and password in the login
screen.

I have tried rootdelay=90, it solves the first freezing, but the second
freezing remains.
