Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-image-generic
I recently installed a bunch of updates including a kernel upgrade to
2.6.27-7. However, upon rebooting, I do not load that kernel by
default, I load 2.6.27-6. If I manually select 2.6.27-7 from the list,
it will boot. It's listed at the top, but when I go in to manually
select, the 2.6.27-6 is highlighted. I also noticed that the "last
known good boot" option is missing from my list now. I also tried
running update-grub, but it still did not fix the issue. Obligatory
dmesg is attached and also a copy of my menu.lst. Please let me know if
you'd like more info.
