Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-generic
On Intrepid, kernel upgrade do 2.6.27-14 broke the atheros wireless that
was working in the previous version.
dmesg line says:
[ 25.857232] wifi%d: unable to attach hardware: 'Hardware revision not
supported' (HAL status 13)
This seems to be the relevant part:
[ 25.021176] ath_hal: module license 'Proprietary' taints kernel.
[ 25.128161] ath_hal: 0.9.18.0 (AR5210, AR5211, AR5212, RF5111, RF5112, RF2413, RF5413)
[ 25.601375] wlan: 0.9.4
[ 25.650941] ACPI: WMI: Mapper loaded
[ 25.808436] ath_pci: 0.9.4
[ 25.808554] ath_pci 0000:03:00.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 18 (level, low) -> IRQ 18
[ 25.808598] ath_pci 0000:03:00.0: setting latency timer to 64
[ 25.857232] wifi%d: unable to attach hardware: 'Hardware revision not supported' (HAL status 13)
Itwas working flawlessly in the previous upgrade (one or two days ago)
Please let me know is there is something else I can do to help.
