Perpetual - Please see these guidelines for setting the importance of a
bug: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Importance.

I appreciate that sometimes you may get frustrated when you do not agree
with the importance of a bug, but the importance has to be set based on
the severity of a bug and the impact to the Ubuntu user base. A bug will
always seem to be high importance from the perspective of the people
that are experiencing the bug, but we can't just set all bugs to high
importance.

However, in this case it should probably be increased to high because of
the number of people experiencing it now, and although there is a
workaround (pressing a key) - this will not be obvious to most users,
who will probably think that their computer fails to boot.

It might warrant a release note entry too.

** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Medium => High

** Also affects: ubuntu-release-notes
   Importance: Undecided
       Status: New
