Testing the intrepid ibex alpha 5 live cd (amd64 version), with the new
2.6.27 kernel,  this problem seems to be gone! I just copied 355MB from
an external harddrive in 13 seconds (approx 218Mbit/s). And no errors to
be seen in the logs.  This computer is using nVidia CK804 USB
Controllers. None of the workarounds people have come up with in the
discussions around this bug has worked on this box (apart from
blacklisting ehci_hcd and living with the depressing speed.)
