I tried what motoplux & rockpiper had work for them--I get a different
response:

[   16.132008] uvesafb: Getting VBE info block failed (eax=0x4f00, err=1)
[   16.132061] uvesafb: vbe_init() failed with -22
[   16.132115] uvesafb: probe of uvesafb.0 failed with error -22

I used mode-1024x768-32 for mine. Any ideas?
