Binary package hint: initramfs-tools

When i log on, i'm shown a black screen (or a desktop background color
screen), and I can't see Gnome Splash, even if is activated via System >
Preferences > Sessions

Intrepid 8.10 alpha6, Dell Vostro 1500 (Intel Core2 Duo, 2GB RAM)
