Public bug reported:

The package description for all linux-restricted-modules packages gives
a rather vague long description that makes it very difficult for someone
to decide whether they need this package or not. As far as I can tell,
it only contains the old Atheros and Broadcom wireless drivers that
might still be needed by some legacy hardware not yet covered by ath5k
or b43, but it's only a guess and one that the user shouldn't have to
make. Rather, the long description should tell the user exactly what
drivers the linux-resricted-modules package actually contains.

Something like this might work:

Description: Non-free Linux kernel modules for version 2.6.28 on x86/x86_64
This package provides restricted modules for Linux version 2.6.28 on
 x86/x86_64.
 .
These modules are "restricted" because they are not available under a
 completely Free licence.
 .
The modules provide support for legacy Atheros and Broadcom WiFi adapters
that are not yet covered by Free modules ath5k and b43 respectively.
 .
You likely do not want to install this package directly. Instead, install
the linux-restricted-modules-generic meta-package, which will ensure that
upgrades work correctly, and that supporting packages are also installed.
