I have asked upstream to include the patch in the 2.6.31 branch.  Let's
see if that happens.

Andy, thank you for providing the patched package.  My apologies for the
delay in testing.  I was away and without the necessary environment to
trigger this bug.  I'm happy to say that the initial problem of oogles
of lines of the form "Virtual device wifi0 asks to queue packet!" are
indeed gone now.  But I have other warnings now in syslog with the
frequency of several per second when wifi connection is poor and loaded.
