Confirm this bug too,
with Linux kernel 2.6.27-11-generic #1 SMP Thu Jan 29 19:24:39 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux
and latest linux-backports-modules.

in dmesg repeatly:
[  135.820061] ath5k phy0: noise floor calibration timeout (2462MHz)
[  138.663932] ath5k phy0: gain calibration timeout (2412MHz)
[  138.663948] ath5k phy0: can't reset hardware (-11)

Problem solving only after cold reboot.
