You cannot guarantee that devices will be enumerated in the same order
each time you boot, especially when you sometimes boot with some
removable hardware connected. This is not a bug. By default, Ubuntu uses
UUID's in /etc/fstab to prevent this from causing a problem. If you've
chosen to use device nodes in your /etc/fstab, then you have to be
prepared to accept the downsides of doing this
