The 2.6.27-11.23 kernel from intrepid-proposed makes my backlight
settings go all funny. The lowest setting (both using xbacklight -set 0
and the Fn-Fx key combos) now corresponds to a black screen. My laptop
was working fine with 2.6.27-11.22.

I've attached the output of lspci -nnvv; dmesg does not seem to contain
"backlight" anywhere in it, so I'll leave it out.
