As Jaunty is not due for another 3-4 months you can hardly call this 
"fixed".

The present situation is that we have the choice of laying a telephone 
book on the keyboard during startup or else use the nolapic switch and 
work with only one of the two CPU cores.

As long as there is no procedure to boot on this chipset that actually 
works (i.e. a kernel update or whatever), setting this bug to "fixed" is 
a slap in the face of users.
