Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since
this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work,
I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.

I am confirming this and making importance high, since it does not allow
individuals with the Acer Aspire One to upgrade to the latest Hardy 8.04
kernel. There is more information available at

It would be better if an 'strace' could be obtained, perhaps using a tty
terminal through Ctrl+Alt+F2. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Strace
