Bug occurred too, seems like cure for 
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)
is adding these 2 lines
options snd-hda-intel model=toshiba
options snd-hda-intel enable_msi=1

I was using model=lenovo so far, from gutsy --> jaunty, today I had this bug and sound no longer worked.
