According to the upstream bugtracker, this was only fixed in 2.6.29,
therefore I believe the only version that will work with this issue will
be Karmic onwards, as it currently uses the 2.6.30 kernel. I am not sure
if this is being worked on to be backported, but that is why it has been
marked as Fix Released. I think the best option is to wait until Karmic
is released in October. :)
