This bug also happens with Kubuntu Karmic 9.10 alpha 2 live cd

ubuntu at ubuntu:~$ scmxx --device /dev/ttyUSB0 --verbose --reset

Sending reset frame...done

Error: Cannot read from device: Connection timed out
ubuntu at ubuntu:~$ strace scmxx --device /dev/ttyUSB0 --verbose --reset 2> strace_scmxx.txt
ubuntu at ubuntu:~$ strace minicom 2> strace_minicom.txt
