[Bug 392845] [NEW] nDISwrapper Failure

Jaunty.
Ive followed these instructions but i cant get the Linksys wireless Adapter WMP300 recognized by ubuntu.  I use ndisgtk and it tells me "unable to see if hardware is present" when i use the XP driver included on my cd. 

1. Open Synaptic Package Manager (System -->Administration-->Synaptic Package Manager
1a. enter root password
2. Click SEARCH and enter ndiswrapper.
3. Left click ndiswrapper and mark for installation.
4. Click Apply to install.
5. ***This is a must!*** To set ndiswrapper to load on startup: open a terminal and copy and paste or type:
sudo ndiswrapper -m
then
sudo gedit /etc/modules
-will open the modules file-
6. Add the following to the list:
ndiswrapper
7. Now to install the driver for ndiswrapper do this:
7a. Again, open Synaptic Package Manager (see step 1)
8. Search for ndisgtk (follow steps 3 and 4 for ndisgtk)
9. When install is finished insert the CD that came with your wireless card and go to: System -->Administration-->Windows Wireless Drivers then install the the .inf driver (ex Lsbcmnds.inf) directly from the CD.
10. do a Ctrl,Alt,BackSpace or simply reboot AND ENJOY!
