The staging driver is still not present as of 2.6.30-4-generic
(2.6.30-4.5 from karmic on a jaunty install), although its firmware is
present on linux-firmware-1.11 (/lib/firmware/rt2860.bin), which doesn't
make that much sense to me.

However 2.1.1.0 compiled just fine on mentioned 2.6.30-4, and with it my
WPA+TKIP works fine (and it is also able to suspend / resume just as
well). Haven't tried on other configs yet (WPA2+AES, WPA+TTLS+PAP as in
Eduroam).
