Same problem here (sense key: no sense) with an external Maxtor 5000DV
in Jaunty. The 60-persistent-storage.rules did something. The drive
actually mounted, but then locked everything that has to do with drives
(places, commands like dmesg and fdisk all froze). So I removed them
again. Are there any progress on this issue???
