[Bug 376275] [NEW] hard lockups with linux-image-2.6.28-3-rt

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image

when attempting to boot with linux-image-2.6.28-3-rt, the system locks up hard. 
I don't know how to troubleshoot this since it locks up hard. 
It has happened with a dual core intel and a dual core amd athlon.
