[Bug 377657] [NEW] [karmic] kernel panic when plugging dvb-t usb device

I just upgraded to karmic alpha 1. I am trying to plug a Terratec cynergy usb xe v2 (0ccd:0069).
As soon as I plug the device I get a kernel panic. Not even the magic keys work. Only a hard reboot gets the system usable again.
