This is a duplicate of bug 292159 which was actually a bug in casper.
It should be resolved as of casper version 1.162.  Please be sure you've
updated.

update-initramfs is disabled since running on a live CD
Failed to symbolic-link /boot/initrd.img-2.6.27-7-generic to initrd.img.
