Uhm.
Same problem here.
But, after running "dpkg --configure -a" I think I found the problem.
OUTPUT:
root at lxjorn:~# dpkg --configure -a
Setter opp initramfs-tools (0.92bubuntu53) ...
update-initramfs: deferring update (trigger activated)
Behandler utløsere for initramfs-tools ...
update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-2.6.31-14-generic
gzip: stdout: No space left on device
update-initramfs: failed for /boot/initrd.img-2.6.31-14-generic
dpkg: underprosessen installed post-installation script returnerte feilstatus 1
root at lxjorn:~# df -h
/dev/sda1 89M 82M 2,1M 98% /boot
... It's quite possible the lack of free space on /boot which seems to be the problem on my side. ;-) I'll try freeing up some space by deleting old kernels, and then try the command once more.
