I have updated to 2.6.31-15-generic (karmic-proposed) and the modem with
ID 12d1:1001 E620 (with e169 printed on it) does not work. In syslog,
modem-manager  writes: Registration state changed: 5 and then next line
Got failure code 3: No carrier. It is working on XP and older Ubuntu.
