Could those affected please retest both with the latest Karmic kernel
2.6.31-12.39 or later and report back here.  If that is bad could you
also install the latest matching linux-backports-modules which brings
compat-wireless and report on that.  In all cases report versions and
succuess/failure here.  Thanks!
