[Bug 461264] [NEW] ext3 external usb drives sporadically crashes

Public bug reported:

for some reason ext3 external usb drives sometimes crashes (check
attachment).

I have not found any step by step guide to reproduce it. just failing on
disk operations - sometimes while coping files, sometimes while listing
directories.

the curious thing: I have 3 drives: 2 ext3 and one with ext4 partiyions.
and only ext3 crashes.

all drives checked with mhdd for badblocks - mhdd reports them as ok.
