Still seeing this with:
ii  linux-image-2.6.31-14-generic             2.6.31-14.48
ii  linux-backports-modules-karmic            2.6.31.14.27 

It is less frequent, but I'm still getting disconnects and not able to
reconnect until I rmmod ath9k. Sometimes it takes a full reboot.
