Can you try the following kernel build?

It's a build of f19d4a8fa6f9b6ccf54df0971c97ffcaa390b7b0 (the first bad
commit).  I'm expecting it to crash.  However it'll confirm

  f19d4a8fa6f9b6ccf54df0971c97ffcaa390b7b0~1  boots fine

f19d4a8fa6f9b6ccf54df0971c97ffcaa390b7b0~1 was
3e63cbb1efca7dd3137de1bb475e2e068e38ef23 which you tested and confirmed
was booting fine in comment #59.
